East Boston Real Estate
This part of Boston has gone through quite the transition throughout the years. This neighborhood of East Boston is very culturally diverse and has approximately 40,000 residents with backgrounds from Italy, Ireland, Columbia, Brazil, and other Latin American nations. Previously, Russian Jews and Italians were known to be the predominant group, however now all ethnic groups are celebrated and this is what makes East Boston such a special place to call home.
Widely considered to be one of the best places to buy today because of all of it’s potential and future investment, it is also conveniently in the same place where the Logan International Airport is. Countless stores and popular restaurants ranging in styles and cuisines that complement all of the diversity make East Boston very exciting to live and try different things. It is very common, for example, to see famous Italian restaurants next to Brazilian cafes; and that is the brilliance of ‘Eastie’ that make it so unique.
This area is constantly attracting investment in the form of new developments and from individuals restoring older residences and buildings all to preserve and improve the bright future for this neighborhood. Besides the airport, there is also the convenience of the MBTA Blue Line in the area. Other points of interests in Eastie include the Madonna Shrine and Don Orione, Constitution Beach, Piers Park, Suffolk Downs, Soccer Field, Temple Ohabei Shalom Cemetery, Community Gardens, and ZUMIX; a non-profit cultural organization dedicated to building community through music and the arts.
